Configure Call Handler with the Softswitch

Now we must configure the Call Handler. This is a set of instructions that tell the Core how to handle incoming call. In our case, we need only "Softswitch" handling, i.e. to route call to outbound destination.

Go to Home >> General >> Call Handlers. You'll see a list of configured Call Handlers. On a fresh system it might be empty (or contain some pre-configured Call Handlers). Press "Add" to add a new one. You'll see this:

Enter call handler's name. Let it be "softswitch". Press "Commit". You'll be taken back to the list of call handlers.

Now press "Edit" on our new call handler. You'll see the Call Handler GUI. You should leave something like this to configure softswitch handling mode:

Assemble this flow from the available items and press "Commit".
