Routing based on telephone traffic metrics¶
Call Routing occurs according to Telephony traffic indicators.
For example, we have route A and route B.Hunting class has metrics configured in the following order:
Route A has ACD of 3 minutes.
Route B has ACD of 2 minutes.
In this case, the system will direct the call first to route A, and then, if it was not possible to connect the call, then to route B.
For dynamic routing, it is wise to use Rounded routing table sorting.
In this case, if the difference between the ACD of the routes is insignificant, then the routes are considered the same for this metric, and the system will proceed to comparing the routes for the next metric.
