HLR query while message routing¶
HLR query could be used when routing message (see Transformation of E.164 number to MCC-MNC code).
Smartswitch supports tight integration between HLR dipping and Messaging to support Number portability in routed wholesale and retail traffic.
HLR query is automatically used for routed messages, if peer - message-originator has HLR routing configured.
In case if you want to use HLR query only for certain countries, you should configure HLR routes only for these countries.
For all the rest countries a static Transformation of E.164 number to MCC-MNC code will be used.
