Fail2Ban application¶
Fail2Ban system periodically examines system logs, and in case if it detects attempts of unauthorized access in system log, it blocks IP address of attacker and his port for configured amount of time.
This allows to protect from attacks of type of Password brute-force.
Following services are protected this way:
- web-interface
- SIP
- H323
Fail2Ban protection parameters are configured via User web-interface.
There one can see blocked IP addresses and manually unblock them if needed.
