Distributed components of one Smartswitch instance¶
In this scheme Smartswitch components are distributed across several nodes.
Components, which could be distributed:
- Signalling and Media engine
- background billing, mail and control applications
- Web-interface
- Database
This scheme might be useful for those who have significant load on particular components.
And at the same time the load is almost equal and this components could be distributed across several servers.
Fo example, Signalling and Media engine and Database use a lot of CPU.
Therefore, by distributing them across 2 servers, you'll gain possibility to handle more calls.
Advantages¶
- Need only 1 Smartswitch license.
Requirements¶
- node count: 2+
- IP addresses count = node count
- nodes should reside in the same network
