Configuring sending fax to e-mail¶
In this chapter we describe how to configure VAS Sending fax to e-mail.
This VAS is used together with VAS Receiving fax without fax machine
This VAS works out of the box, in case if PBX has been configured according to instruction Configuring PBX.
And in case if e-mail is defined for user which receives fax.
Specify e-mail for user in field Users (edit) -> Information -> e-mail.
Also you can specify e-mail for user, under whose account you've logged into the system, in menu My settings -> My settings -> Information -> e-mail.
By default faxes are sent from mail account which is defined at System -> Cluster settings -> Mail -> mail account.
To configure some different mail account for fax sending please perform next steps:
1. Mail -> Mail accounts: add a new account from which mails with attached faxes should be sent.
2. In call handler "virtual_fax" in element Send mail set mail account, created in i.1.
