What happens if disk becomes full¶

By default in Smartswitch installation (when installing from .iso image from Streamco site) disk is partitioned next way:

• / - root partition.
  It becomes full rarely.
  Usually it happens due to user's actions in console.
  When it becomes full there are no more problems besides impossibility of writing new information from console.

• /var - partition for temporary data.
  It's used for logging.
  On overflow it's possible to loose new logs.
  However usually this doesn't happen, because majority of applications, including web-interface and asterisk, stop working when this partition becomes full.

• /usr - partition for system applications and main data.
  Here database, call records and other big information is stored.
  On overflow new CDRs won't store and it would be impossible to change configuration.
  However usually this doesn't happen, because majority of applications, including web-interface and asterisk, stop working when this partition becomes full.
