Channels¶

Channels are the call transport of the system. They define what technologies system supports and thus where it can be applied.

Currently Smartswitch supports channels of such types:

• SIP. The most rapidly developed VoIP protocol. It has reach features and is a preferable choice.

• H323. That's older and less feature-aware VoIP protocol.
